No, I lied, it's more exciting :) I just recieved this 1986 OBL L-500R from an ebay acution and man it looks sweet. I purchased this one mostly for use on this site, for photos and comparisons. Yeah, of course I'm going to install it and wail!!! Yeah, of course I'm going to install it and wail!!! At first sight, the rails/blades are at least if not exactly twice as thick as those found in vintage Bill Lawrence pickups (those with the thin-flat blades made in 83-84) or EZ's BLusa's(84-present). Hopefully I'll be able to update and add photos based on this pickup throughout the site soon, stay tuned!!!
