I bought a set of Bill Lawerence mini humbuckers fom Ebay years ago. They were supposedly NOS  in the box and  on the back  of each pickup was a small paper sticker with 500 Rythmn and the other 560- Lead. There are two screws on the back. I tried them  on my Guild Nightbird and they sounded good  but they were to "strong".  I also tried the Q filter. How can I mellow thing out a bit? Thanks
