Movements... Mark dispute, update #4

To this casual observer, it would seem the "Bill Lawrence" name dispute is starting to settle.

A quick look at billlawrence.com (the site about the man, Willi Stich aka Bill Lawrence) would indicate that Bill is no longer selling pickups as "Bill Lawrence" pickups but as being "designs by Bill Lawrence" under the brand-names Wilde® and Keystone™ respectfully.

Also, a quick peek at billlawrenceusa.com (the site owned and operated by Jzchak "EZ" Wajcman dba, but not limited to, "Bill Lawrence Products") you'll notice a new "TRADEMARK DISCLAIMER" stating...

"Disclaimer: Jzchak Wajcman dba “Bill Lawrence USA“, is not associated with the designer Bill Lawrence since 1984.

Jzchak Wajcman is the founder of the original 1965 “Bill Lawrence” Guitar Pickup Company (Lawrence Electro Sound)

The “Bill Lawrence" trademark is solely owned by Jzchak Wajcman, dba “Bill Lawrence USA” and is the one and only legal source and manufacturer of all “Bill Lawrence” musical products.

What is a trademark? A trademark includes any word, name, symbol, or device, or any combination, used, or intended to be used, in commerce to identify and distinguish the goods of one manufacturer or seller from goods manufactured or sold by others, and to indicate the source of the goods. In short, a trademark is a brand name. of the "

I'm not sure why it cuts off where it does at the end there, but that is how it is. I found this definition at http://www.smbtn.com/smallbusinessdictionary/
"Trademark
A distinctive name, symbol, motto or emblem that identifies a product, service or firm that has been legally registered as the property of the firm. Trademarks grant the owner the right to prevent competitors from using similar marks in selling or advertising."

Another definition here http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/trademark

As another sign of the times, sellers on ebay are having their auctions for Bill and Becky's pickups cancelled if they are not careful about how they use the term "Bill Lawrence" (verification needed)(my two cents: save your money and time, if you want to flame people online do it in forums not in places of commerce. ).

Looks like I'll be spending some time editing this site for proper, fair, and at least safe, wording, and generally updating the site to reflect these new developments. The trick for me really is to try and find a language which will stand up regardless of how this situation twists and turns.
In the meantime, I've purchased a few new domain names which do not include the words "bill" or "lawrence", just in case the wind blows that way :)
(In all seriousness, I've purchased these new domain names in the hopes of branching out from just a few pickups and include many pickups in my focus)

Is this the end of the seemingly age old battle? Fought long in the courts and online in the forums, could the dust be settling?
